“Honestly, attending Camp Everygirl was one of the most healing experiences of my life. I felt like a little girl again: curious, adventurous, and heart wide open to the world,” one camper said after attending our brand’s first-ever women’s retreat–and I couldn’t have hoped for a better response.

After nearly five years of dreaming and one year of planning and bringing this vision to life, I can wholeheartedly say the Camp Everygirl experience exceeded all of my hopes and expectations. It was this rare, beautiful moment where relaxation met creativity and having fun, and community came alive in the most genuine way.

This past month, more than 100 women gathered in Texas Hill Country for a long weekend led by eight members of The Everygirl Media Group team who stepped into the roles of Camp Counselors and Camp Director (yours truly). It was three full days brimming with connection, reflection, and play. Our enthusiastic adult campers participated in everything from mindfulness and breathwork sessions to horseback riding, hiking, and creative workshops in art and photography. Whether you came for rest, growth, or simply a break from your daily routine, everyone left with new friendships, a fresh perspective, and that nostalgic camp magic we all yearn for from childhood.

“Camp Everygirl was the perfect blend of honoring and celebrating your girlhood and womanhood. The most magical weekend imaginable,” another happy camper stated in their post-camp survey.

The Vision for Camp Everygirl

The idea for Camp Everygirl was born out of what I see every day through our work at The Everygirl Media Group: a deep, growing need for connection. The Everygirl and The Everymom teams create content to inspire and support women in every season of life—our audience spans more than one million women and mothers between the ages of 23 and 50—and what we hear most is that women crave spaces where they can truly be themselves. Where vulnerability isn’t met with judgment, but with understanding.

And in an age where people are chronically online and the distinction between reality and AI continues to blur, the desire for real human connection and community continues to grow stronger. Camp Everygirl was our way of bringing that mission to life—offline, in the real world.

The Experience: A Weekend of Wellness, Creativity, and Connection

Thursday: Welcome to Camp Everygirl, Trivia, and Campfire Under the Stars

The 2025 Camp Everygirl event was our company’s inaugural women’s retreat as a brand, and nothing could have prepared us for the palpable energy the moment the first shuttle arrived with campers. The moment 40+ strangers stepped off the bus and through the Camp Everygirl archway, you could feel the buzz: equal parts excitement and nostalgia, everyone a tiny bit unsure of what to expect but showing up with a willingness to jump in.

Counselors spread out, signing people in, distributing official Camper tees, and handing out custom Camp Everygirl tote bags filled to the brim with luxurious swag items, before sending campers off to find their cabins and explore the grounds. Lawn games, merch shopping, crafting, and a DIY scavenger hunt filled the afternoon before everyone met for cocktails and an official welcome in the main space.

That evening, we gathered for dinner in the beautiful, oversized dining hall, followed by a little friendly trivia to get to know one another, and a big all-camp bonfire and s’mores under the stars. It was the perfect first night–a chance to settle in, unwind, laugh, and instantly feel part of something special.

“It truly felt like you can come as you are—you’ll find a place here.”

If there’s one thing that deserves its own shoutout, it’s the food. This was not your typical camp dining experience of refried beans and sloppy joes. Every meal–from breakfast through dinner–was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious, with custom options available for our gluten-free and vegan campers.

Beyond the food, the venue itself added layers of comfort that elevated the experience from camp to true retreat: room service, en-suite bathrooms, cabin occupancy capped at four (opposed to 20-person bunkrooms seen at most camps), plush mattresses that were made up while campers attended activities, and fresh flowers placed in every cabin and throughout the dining hall. These thoughtful details made the entire weekend feel effortless, indulgent, and unforgettable.

Friday: Personal Growth, Creative Play, and Getting Outdoors

Friday morning started slowly. Birds chirping, sun rising, and a cool breeze blowing greeted more than sixty early risers as they set off on their guided hike through the hills, as another group of campers set off for the unofficial Camp Everygirl Run Club. Breakfast featured scrambled eggs with sides of shredded cheddar and applewood smoked bacon, along with sourdough French toast with turmeric and golden raisins. Campers from all corners of camp flocked to the sumptuous coffee bar powered by Califia Farms with Organic Almond Creamers (made with no gums or oils) in Pumpkin Spice, Brown Sugar, and Pistachio flavors.

The day unfolded into a choose-your-own-adventure lineup of activities: horseback rides, watercolor class, iPhone photography workshop, pickleball tournaments, and mindfulness sessions like “Letter to Your Future Self” and a guided breathwork meditation kept campers busy with intention. Campers were repeatedly encouraged to “choose their own adventure”–in other words, you do you. Whatever you’re in the mood for. Go where your heart desires. This time is for you. No one is requiring you to show up to any session or activity. Some filled their days from morning until night, bouncing from one activity to another.

One excited camper went from the 7 a.m. run club straight through to closing down the craft room—affectionately dubbed the Isolation Cabin—at 11 p.m., long after her friends had gone to bed. When I asked where she found the energy, she laughed and said, “With four kids at home, I never have time to do anything for myself, so I want to do it all while I’m here!”

Others took a slower pace, spending lazy afternoons reading, sunbathing, and recharging beside the water. The beauty of the weekend is that it’s entirely about you—whatever fills your cup, that’s what you’re meant to do.

Afternoons were made for downtime or diving into crafts—friendship bracelets, journaling, or a little sparkle session. Who knew bedazzling would be such a hit? From Kindle cases to hair clips and book covers, some campers left with full-on glittering collections.

That evening, everyone gathered for dinner before settling in for a movie night under the stars or fireside chats that stretched late into the night. Of course, Oreos and peanut butter found their way into the late-night mix.

It was one of those days that reminded you: rest, play, and creativity can all coexist beautifully.

Saturday: Movement, Connection, and Celebration

By Saturday, the camp rhythm had set in. The morning began early with a restorative (albeit chilly) sunrise sound bath followed by another delicious breakfast in the main hall. Morning sessions featured two signature wellness sessions–Core and Crunch Pilates with California Walnuts and Mindfulness Yoga & Meditation with Wantable–that left campers both grounded and energized. Attendees in each session were not only treated to delicious bites and beverages, but they also got to leave with custom-branded yoga mats and accessories (journals, hair ties, and more).

After lunch, many of the ladies gathered for the first Everygirl Book Club, where women broke into small groups to discuss the two books from partner Berkley. (All campers received their own copy of the book prior to arriving at camp so they could read it ahead of time.) Recognizing that people have very different tastes when it comes to what they like to read, we offered a title from two genres: thriller and romance. The thriller book was Too Old for This by Samantha Downing, and the romance was a new release and the third installment in a hockey romance series, Revolve by Bal Khabra. Campers also received exclusive messages from the authors themselves with insider details about the creation of each book, which made the experience really special.

The late afternoon brought everyone together for the Camp Everygirl Lake Party–complete with ziplining, kayaks, paddleboards, floatie rings, music, cocktails, and of course, nachos! It was such a wonderful way for everyone to relax and not feel guilty about it (allowing everyone to turn off that familiar feeling that you ought to be doing something productive or getting something done).

As golden hour hit, we returned to our cabins to dress up for a farewell dinner under twinkle lights and danced beneath the stars in the Rose Garden–laughing, barefoot, and completely in the moment. The dance party really dialed up, capturing the fun, carefree energy and magic of those couple of days of women coming together, just as they are.

Sunday: Packing Up and Saying Goodbye

Sunday morning was short and sweet as campers departed, some catching early flights, while most stayed to enjoy one last breakfast and final goodbyes. It was almost unanimously decided that most wanted to return for the 2026 Camp Everygirl or even make it an annual tradition–a sure way to get away and relax without having to plan anything outside of booking the ticket.

“It felt like stepping back into the best parts of childhood–laughter, friendship bracelets, and late-night talks under the stars–only this time with wine and better snacks,” said one 2025 camper.

The Community: 100 Women Who Showed Up for Themselves

Outside of the activities, adventure, crafts, and mouth-watering meals, what really made Camp Everygirl special was the energy and spirit of the women who showed up for themselves. There was an instant buzz and hum in the excitement to meet one another; so many women from different places, ages, and walks of life, all united by the same goal: to rest, reconnect, and rediscover themselves. Introverts and extroverts alike had no trouble joining in a conversation or group and immediately feeling seen and included.

“As someone expecting there would be cliques and I wouldn’t feel welcomed, I have never experienced that kind of true support and friendship from women I just met,” said one camper. “To feel wanted, accepted, and valued was a game-changer for my Camp Everygirl experience.”

Everywhere you turned, conversations flowed easily–about life, work, love, and everything in between. Women swapped stories, shared advice, and showed up for each other with honesty and humor. By the end of the weekend, strangers had become roommates, support systems, and new best friends.

“Camp Everygirl reminded me that community heals. Laughter, late-night talks, and shared stories can rebuild parts of you that you didn’t realize were cracked.”

Partner Highlights: The Brands That Made It Possible

What truly elevated the Camp Everygirl experience were the incredible partners who shared our vision and brought it to life through thoughtful design, immersive activations, and standout swag. Their contributions turned an unforgettable weekend into something even more meaningful, perfectly reflecting The Everygirl’s mindful aesthetic and our mission to inspire wellness, creativity, and connection.

Take the welcome bags, for example—a standout moment of intentional gifting. Each one included cozy, grip-ready Pilates socks from Pillabarre to support our morning movement sessions, a sleek Yeti water bottle to keep hydration on point, and The Boonly connection card game—an invitation to spark meaningful conversations and deepen camper bonds. These curated touches delivered both function and feeling, setting the tone for a weekend rooted in community, self-care, and joy.

And the impact didn’t stop there—our larger brand partners took things even further with immersive activations and elevated experiences that brought the heart of Camp Everygirl to life in unforgettable ways.

Berkley

Our partnership with Berkley brought a uniquely personal and thoughtful touch to Camp Everygirl through the first-ever Everygirl Book Club. At camp, women broke into small groups to dive into meaningful conversations about Too Old for This by Samantha Downing or Revolve by Bal Khabra, made even more special by exclusive messages from the authors themselves. It was a moment of reflection, storytelling, and shared experience—perfectly aligned with our mission to spark connection through creativity and personal growth.

Wantable

Longtime Everygirl partner Wantable brought both movement and mindfulness to camp with a yoga, meditation, and guided journaling session that encouraged self-reflection and balance. Plus, each camper received a Brooksville Sweatshirt from Wantable as special preview of our fall collaboration: The Everygirl Style Edit. Both The Everygirl and Wantable aim to encourage women to live their best lives and feel powerful in their own skin, and our session was aimed at reminding the campers of exactly that.

Thirty minutes of yoga followed by 30 minutes of guided meditation from our very own podcast host and wellness editor, Josie Santi, left attendees feeling a better sense of self and self-love. The session ended with fresh juices, nutritious and delicious energy bites, and a tour of our very own Everygirl Edit, a curated fall wardrobe collection that extends beyond the Camp weekend through the fall months. Our audience is encouraged to take the style quiz and have their personalized fall wardrobe delivered to their doorsteps!

California Walnuts

Fifty campers got to enjoy a Core and Crunch Pilates session powered by California Walnuts, reminding everyone that fueling your body is just as important as moving it. An hour-long Pilates session in the beautiful outdoors, followed by a Make Your Own Acai Walnut Crunch Bowl featuring California Walnuts. was an amazing way for many to kickstart their second day of camp. As a partner that encourages feeling good from the inside out, California Walnuts was a natural fit for a retreat rooted in wellness, energy, and self-care.

Califia Farms

No camp morning is complete without coffee, and Califia Farms kept everyone caffeinated and smiling with a beautiful all-day coffee bar featuring their signature plant-based creamers and bold cold brews. It quickly became the most popular gathering spot between morning hikes and creative workshops well into the afternoon.

Blake Brown Beauty

Every cabin and bathroom was stocked with luxurious Blake Brown Beauty products–shampoos, hair masks, and styling essentials that left everyone feeling pampered. Campers loved that they could test and take home their favorites, turning simple routines into moments of self-care.

Together, these thoughtful brand activations helped create a retreat experience that felt as elevated as it was restorative–a true reflection of The Everygirl’s commitment to wellness, community, and everyday inspiration.

The Everygirl Experience: The Magic is in the Details

Anyone familiar with The Everygirl knows that for us, experience is everything–and the magic always lives in the details. Camp Everygirl was no exception. Every space, sign, and piece of swag was intentionally designed to feel both nostalgic and elevated, capturing that signature Everygirl blend of beauty, comfort, and approachability, while giving campers that feeling of an elevated, unique experience just for them.

One camper reviewed, “Even though this was the first [camp], it felt seamless, and so detailed and well organized. Y’all have such a great platform to work from now!! I cannot wait until next camp!”

From the custom signage and muted-toned tees to cozy camp merch, enamel mugs, and embroidered hats, each element was created to spark delight and inspire beauty. One surprise hit of the weekend? The exclusive Camp Everygirl merch. Sweatshirts and hats sold out faster than we could have imagined–proof that everyone wanted to take a little piece of camp home with them.*

Plus, thoughtful design moments were woven throughout the weekend–from branded directional signs and a custom coffee bar to beautiful florals, curated menus, and bathrooms stocked with luxurious hair and beauty products.

Every corner offered a photo-worthy surprise: hand-painted signs, perfectly styled picnic tables, and campfire scenes that looked straight out of a Nancy Meyers movie (if Nancy ever directed The Parent Trap for grown-ups). The goal was simple–to make every woman feel cared for, inspired, and surrounded by beauty in both big and subtle ways. To sit back and just take it all in and enjoy.

“Every detail was so intentional–it felt like summer camp meets self-care retreat,” said a 2025 camper.

It’s those little touches–the ones that make you smile when you notice them—that define The Everygirl aesthetic. Camp Everygirl was designed not just to be attended, but to be remembered.

*If you missed it, you can still shop the fan-favorite green Everygirl sweatshirt (and more cozy merch inspired by camp) online at The Everygirl Shop.

What’s Next: 2026 Camp Everygirl Women’s Retreat and Beyond

If you’re reading this and thinking, I need that weekend in my life, you’re not alone. We’re already dreaming up Camp Everygirl 2026, and we’d love for you to join us. Because as things wrapped up on our first Camp Everygirl, one thing was clear: this was just the beginning. What started as an idea to bring The Everygirl community offline turned into something truly transformative–a reminder that when women gather with openness and intention, magic happens.

“Honestly, attending Camp Everygirl was one of the most healing experiences of my life. I felt like a little girl again–curious, adventurous, and heart wide open to the world,” stated another 2025 camper.

And Camp Everygirl was never about escaping real life. It was about rediscovering what makes it beautiful. For a few days, we all got to be the best versions of ourselves: present, playful, and perfectly imperfect.

We can’t wait to recreate that feeling again next year, hopefully with more dates. More laughter. More connection. More friendship bracelets. More bedazzling.

Because, as one camper said, “Is it possible to make 100 new best friends in a matter of four days? At Camp Everygirl, absolutely.”
As I stood at the final campfire, watching those 100 women laugh under the stars, I felt more grateful than ever for this community–one that started as a website and has grown into something so much bigger. And as one camper stated: “Camp Everygirl: peak girlhood happens here.” Well, mark my words, that’s going on a t-shirt next year.
