The Efrons are always a supportive family. Zac Efron made a surprise appearance in the Dancing With the Stars audience to support his brother Dylan and his dancing partner Daniella Karagach. However, a little one might have also stole the spotlight.
On Nov. 18, Zac Efron was seen in the audience for the first time since his younger brother stepped onto the ballroom. Though it was the first time for his highly anticipated spotlight, Dylan admitted that his absence was because his brother was “doing his thing,” adding that Zac Efron’s been “supporting me every day.”
Nonetheless, Zac’s appearance broke the internet. One netizen saw a photo of the family saying, “Since when Zac Efron had a child like how many chapters did I miss???” Another person observed, “ZAC TRYING TO HIDE FROM THE CAMERA WITH THE KID LMAO #dwts“

The team danced a tango to “I Would Die 4 U,” which earned him and his partner a 27 out of 30. The camera panned over to “Dylan Efron‘s family and friends,” with a little girl in his lap. Zac also had a viral moment with his mom in the audience when it seemed like he was asking her if that was a good score. (Yes Zac, it IS a good score.)
Dylan chatted with E! News about his brother’s unending support. “It meant everything,” Dylan told the outlet. “Like, I grew up watching him do stuff like this. So the fact he’s now watching me do this is crazy.”

Does Zac Efron Have Kids?
Zac Efron does not have any children. The young girl who was seen with the High School Musical star at Dancing With the Stars was his half-sister, Olivia.
Zac and Dylan’s parents Starla Baskett and David Efron divorced in 2016. David later remarried and welcomed two more children: Olivia, born 2019, and Henry.
All the siblings are super close with each other, and both older brothers post their younger siblings on their social media. In July 2021, Zac introduced Olivia on Instagram, calling her his “little heartbreaker.”
On his appearance on DWTS, Dylan revealed that his family had rooted for his older brother to appear on the show ever since the show’s debut. “My mom, her dream was Zac doing the show 20 years ago,” Dylan said in an interview with People. “So I’m really excited for my mom to be there.”
Olivia even made an appearance during Dedication Night on Oct. 15, with Dylan making a tribute to Zac by dancing to “Rewrite the Stars” from the hit movie The Greatest Showman. The Traitors winner made a heartfelt comment about how his older brother inspired him to be the best sibling towards Olivia. “Now, being able to dance to ‘Rewrite the Stars,’ this is a nod to my brother,” Dylan said during the episode. “Zac’s always taken care of me and he did things that were so selfless. I wanna be that to Olivia, I wanna be the best role model I can.”
As for starting a family, Zac admitted that bonding with his younger half-siblings is preparing him for that milestone. “For so much my life I’ve been just really focused on my career and the next movie,” he told The Rundown‘s Erin Lim Rhodes at the premiere for A Family Affair. “And it’s kind of always been about that for me. So having some time off recently has really made me reflect, and I think I’m ready for it. I just love being around ’em. So they’re kind of getting me ready for it.”
