William Accused of ‘Bulldozing His Way’ to Power After Reportedly Seeing ‘Dying’ Charles as ‘Weak & Incapable’—Camilla Is ‘Devastated’

There might be a transfer of powers sooner than we thought for the royal family. Prince William is reportedly stepping up due to his father King Charles‘ frail health, and it’s upsetting some members quite clearly.

According to insiders to RadarOnline, Queen Camilla is reportedly “fuming” over how William and Kate treated her “dying” husband Charles, and “bulldozed their way” into taking over the response for former Prince Andrew’s titles being stripped away.

One source said: “Once Charles agreed to give up control to William, distraught Camilla clutched her pearls, collapsed from grief and exclaimed, ‘Don’t do this to me!’” Another insider told the site that she wants to prolong her stay as queen, but William is getting in the way. “Camilla is all about the power trip,” the source said. “She knows that her husband had been waiting to be king for a very long time, and quite frankly, she had also been waiting to be queen.”

They continued, “Camilla is just trying to hold on to the throne for as long as possible, and taking it away is devastating her.”

Kate Middleton also has a big hand in moving Camilla to the side. According to the site, the Princess of Wales pressured her husband to a divorce ultimatum – swearing she’d leave William if he didn’t intervene.

Charles reportedly relinquished some of his powers to his son because of his ailing health. “Prince William sees his dad as kind of weak and incapable of doing things the way he would do it to protect the monarchy,” a source revealed. “While King Charles was babying his brother [Andrew], giving him the benefit of the doubt, William was telling him to pump the brakes and kick him out.”

“Prince William is no-nonsense. He didn’t like the way his father was ruling.” The father and son are reportedly also clashing over Beatrice & Eugenie’s roles in public life following their dad’s scandal. According to Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, Charles’ decision to approve Beatrice as a patronage with the Outward Bound Trust “blindsided” courtiers who believed the Yorks were still “benched.”

A source told Shuter: “William wanted the Yorks out of sight until after the King’s next health review. But His Majesty insisted – he thinks the family needs to heal in public.”

“William’s pragmatic,” the source concludes. “He knows the Yorks are poison with the public. His father just won’t see it.”
